Politicians on MySpace

The get everywhere, don’t they? Cluetrain Manifesto co-author David Weinberger points to the MySpace of Allan Lichtman, a Democrat running for the US Senate. Weinberger says:

I appreciate his willingness to appear somewhat goofy. Seriously. MySpace hasn’t succeeded because it’s so damn dignified.

And yet, something so unabashedly undignified is insanely successful and the subject of much speculation from business about how to emulate its success. Good fodder for discussion on June 21st.
